Wake County Senior Games are open to people ages 50 and up who live throughout the Triangle region. Wake County residency is not required to participate. All participants must be a North Carolina resident for three consecutive months of the year.

In 2022, the Wake County Games will be held in-person. Registration is open February 15 – March 15, 2022. To register, please visit this page.

Art intake will be on Thursday, March 31 from 10 a.m. – to noon at the Cary Senior Center. Art may be picked up on Friday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to noon. Heritage Arts submissions will be displayed using photos.

The Silver Arts Reception will be held on Wed., April 27 from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Cary Senior Center.

Art Entry Eligibility

All entries must be original works of the artist. Work must be created after age 50 and within the last two years.

Heritage Arts entries must be the work of the individual, not a group effort. One entry per category. Patterns may be used, but no stamped pieces will be accepted. Framed work must be securely wired and ready to be hung (no serrated hooks or string). Framed works can be no larger than 36″ x 42″, including matting and frame and no heavier than 40 pounds.
