Senior Games Registration

Wake County Senior Games (WCSG) promotes the health, well-being, and enjoyment of people 50 years of age or older through friendly competitions in athletics and the arts. Our motto is “Don’t Quite. Stay Fit”. Athletes and Artists participate for their love of the game, activity/art, the fun and friendly competition, camaraderie as well as their own personal achievement.

Registration Details:

  • January 28-March 1 ($15 – allows participation in 3 athletic/art events)
  • March 2-11 ($20 – allows participation in 3 athletic/art events)

The  Information & Registration Packet  is available online and for pick-up two weeks prior to registration which opens on January 28.

 

Cornhole

This event is at Crabtree Valley Mall off Glenwood Avenue.

Basketball Shooting, Men and Women

This event will be held at the Apex Community Center.  Bring friends and family to CHEER!

 

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, Womens

 

Team captain must build the team and individual players MUST register individually. The youngest player on the team determines the age category of the team. After registration ends, staff will contact each team captain with their team’s play time.

All Captains MUST submit team roster by March 11, 2019.  Each team member MUST register individually.  

NEW FOR 2019: Each team must pay an additional $25 for the Basketball Tournament.

At least 40% of the team participants must be Wake County residents.

This event will be held at the Apex Community Center.

Table Tennis, Singles

New Venue:

Wake County Senior Games is proud to partner with Triangle Table Tennis this year to host our Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles competitions.  Triangle Table Tennis is a state of the art facility located in Morrisville.  We are honored to be able to use their space.

New Fee: 

To help us pay for the venue and supplies, you will be charged an additional $2 per table tennis event.

PickleBall Singles

Pickleball Singles format for WCSG

FEE CHANGE: There will be a $2 per event fee for Pickleball.  This will cover the cost of new balls and taping the floors at two facilities for these events.

Singles Venue:  Wake Forest Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department will be hosting Singles Pickeball at Flaherty Park Community Center.
