Five Points Center for Active Adults is operated by the Adult Program and available for individuals 50 years and better. All programs, classes and activities are geared towards older adults; however, the Adult Program is open to adults of any age that are in need of our specialized programs.
The Center is located at 2000 Noble Road, Raleigh, NC off Whitaker Mill Road in the “Five Points Area” of downtown Raleigh.
The Five Points Center is a 20,000 square-foot facility, adjacent to the existing Wake County Human Services Building located on Whitaker Mill Road. This new center features:
- numerous multi-purpose and specialty classroom spaces
- 4,000 square foot ballroom
- fitness equipment room
- dance & fitness studio
- computer lab
- billiards/game room
- Café and other unique and beautiful spaces
In addition, Meals on Wheels of Wake County offers a lunch program for seniors age 60 and over every Monday through Friday. Resources for Seniors, Inc. have an on-site Information and Referral specialist to assist patrons with issues such as legal aid, housing, transportation and other topic areas.
Five Points offers a fitness room with two treadmills, a recumbent bike, a recumbent elliptical, a universal machine, free weights and a stretching area. The fitness room offers a great workout opportunity to our patrons. Interested patrons may register for an individualized orientation with one of our fitness instructors.
